I started my career in facility services, where I saw how many organisations still manage their contracts in spreadsheets and scattered emails. Agreements get lost, performance is not tracked and no one has real grip on what has been agreed and what is delivered.
With GRIP we started in facility, because we knew that practice best. But the problem is universal: every organisation with supplier contracts runs into the same challenges. That is why we are building a platform for contract management in the broadest sense today, with facility as our proven foundation.
From idea to standard
Every step grew from practice: what clients and suppliers really needed.
GRIP is born
GRIP came to life with one ambition: making the management of facilities contracts more transparent. The first platform imported facilities data, processed it and made it clear for clients.
That improved cooperation between clients, suppliers and intermediaries with clearer agreements.
Introducing quality management
The platform grows with quality measurements. Not only managing contracts, but also measuring and clarifying performance for all parties involved.
Spin-off: GRIP becomes independent
The offering expands with contract management, audit software and DKS software for cleaning control, designed to work together smoothly. GRIP spins off from CONTRAST and continues as an independent company.
Introducing Financial Management
Financial management is added to the platform. Transparency in costs, invoice control and budget monitoring make GRIP a complete contract management system.
CATS CM® Foundation certification
Personal: in 2020 I obtained my CATS CM® Foundation certification, because I believe good contract management is the foundation of every lasting partnership. View certificate.
Move to Amsterdam
With growth in mind we moved to new premises on the Nieuwe Hemweg in Amsterdam, where we keep working to improve the experience of building users.
New proposition and rebranding
A fully renewed proposition and rebranding: AI-driven document processing, smart analytics and a fresh look. With 268+ organisations relying on GRIP daily, we are ready for the next phase.
