This collaboration will receive more focus and ambition from this fall. Together, the two companies are committed to organizing facility processes more intelligently, including through further digitization of quality measurements and contract management. When it comes to sustainability, both companies also use digital tools to measure impact.

Anna Casemier, managing partner at CONTRAST: “AI is becoming increasingly accessible to everyone and directly applicable in daily practice. This offers many opportunities for our field of work. That is why CONTRAST and GRIP Facility have examined our collaboration and looked together at where our added value lies when it comes to technology and data. We want to use AI to organize facility services more intelligently and proactively. After all, AI offers the possibility to look ahead and identify patterns and trends, for example when it comes to operating forecasts, preliminary calculations and getting a grip on consumer behavior.”

AI-driven contract management

Stephan Simons, managing partner at GRIP Facility: “Since 2016, GRIP Facility has been helping organizations optimize contract management. We have developed a Contract Dashboard for full digitization of facility contract management. With this dashboard, we offer organizations more control, transparency and efficiency in daily management of their facility contracts. This fits the need of organizations to better collaborate with suppliers and better manage performance. Where previously financial and performance data were imported in fixed formats, we can now automatically load and link countless data sources and files with the help of AI, allowing us to gain insight faster and easier into what we want. New is the Sustainability Module in our Contract Dashboard. This is a powerful tool to get a grip on an organization’s impact on people, environment and society.”

Learning from frontrunners CONTRAST and GRIP Facility integrate the new AI tools step by step into their operations. Marieke Weerts, managing partner and facility consultant at CONTRAST: “We want to learn from frontrunners and look carefully at which AI applications really add value. In other words: we embrace AI; at the same time, we look carefully at what is relevant to our customers and how we maintain the balance with the human aspect of our work. In GRIP Facility we have found a collaboration partner who thinks the same way. For now, we mainly focus on innovative data-driven performance management, using KPIs that align with what the organization wants to achieve together with its partners. I am convinced that we can use AI powerfully in this way to realize one step ahead in service experience. That is our mission, we stick to it.”

We implement this renewal step by step in our contract dashboard. Not everything at once, but in manageable phases. This way organizations can immediately benefit from smart functions, while contract managers and clients are actively involved in the change. Their experiences and feedback are indispensable: we use them to make each next phase even better. In this way, the platform grows with practice and the contract manager remains increasingly in control.

CONTRAST Facility + Hospitality and GRIP Facility have been working together for several years when it comes to the use of technology and data in facility services.
